5/31/09 - We've gotten a lot of new equipment in over the past few months, and have some great new tracks in the works! We also have a new website that will be going up within the month - so I'll keep this brief since it won't be here for much longer! I also threw up a new Shute Henns song on the media player - check it out!

2/16/09 - We've received a whole bunch of new gear as we continue to expand our arsenal of instruments and audio eqiupment throughout 2009. First of all, your music will now be mixed with a 48 channel digital mixing console, which directly controls your tracks within Sonar. You of course still have unlimited tracks here at Pinewood - the mixer just "looks at" 48 tracks at a time. Here's a picture of Jack at the new console:

We also now have an SE Electronics Reflexion filter - it's basically a microphone isolator that can you give you a drier, more up-front sound. Works great with vocals.

We should be getting a brand new Carter pedal steel guitar in the next week or two, which will allow us to bring a little Nashville to Boston. A little pedal steel in an arrangement can really sound amazing - we're excited to have one of our own. 2/1/09 - Pinewood Productions is co-writing, engineering, producing, arranging and mixing The Shute Henns' debut release. Take a listen to a sample from their upcoming EP on our media page, and visit them at their myspace .

11/10/08 - Pinewood Productions mixed the first official release for New York based a cappella arranger Randi Stanley's NYC A Cappella . She's made a really wonderful arrangement for the song "Almost Had It All" - check out a clip of it in our media section.

10/15/08 - We received a very nice new guitar amplifier today. Guitarists will be familiar with the Fender Hot Rod Deville 212 tube amp. It has fantastic tone and can really rock, but also has a very nice clean channel with a vintage Fender spring reverb. It's available for all of our clients to use at any time.

10/5/08 - We're going to be investing in about $25,000 of new equipment throughout the coming year to add to our current collection of nice gear. We received one of our new pieces today - the Martin D-15 acoustic guitar. It sounds amazing! Of course, all of our instruments are meticulously cared for and are available for all of our clients to use whenever they please.

9/15/08 - The LeetStreet Boys' infectious videogame-rock song "Yuri The Only One" is part of the EMI compilation disc "Video Games Live", which has debuted at 10 on the Billboard charts. Engineering for the song was done by Jack Ludden here at Pinewood Productions. Check them out at their Myspace.

9/10/08 - Jared Harper's first studio album is underway now here at Pinewood Productions. I'm working with him every step of the way, from co-writing to engineering and mixing. It's shaping up to be an awesome album! Check out our first draft of the song "Where You Been Lately" in our Media section.

9/1/08 - The Umass Dynamics' song "Runaway" from their newest album Love Games has been selected for one of the genre's biggest honors - inclusion on the annual compilation Voices Only. Love Games was produced, engineered, mixed and mastered by Jack Ludden at Pinewood Productions. Congratulations to the Dynamics!
